Sorted by the shape of your house
Our work
Sorted by the shape of the house rather than by which photographs flatter us most. The question worth answering is not whether a design is nice — it is what this looks like, and costs, on a house built like yours.
Single-story rambler
The most common shape here, and the cheapest to light well.
A clean eave line and low access mean most of the run is ladder-reachable, which is the single biggest thing that keeps a lighting price down. If you are wondering whether DIY makes sense, this is the house type where the answer is most often yes — and we will tell you so.
Two-story with front gable
Where the peak decides the price.
The gable is what people look at, and it is also the part that needs proper fall protection. This is the shape where hiring out stops being about convenience and starts being about the ladder.
Mountain-modern, steep pitch
Lift work, and worth planning in summer.
Steep pitches and deep overhangs are the jobs we schedule earliest, because doing them in November weather is how people get hurt. Booked in August, these are straightforward.
Community entrance & clubhouse
Scoped on a map, not a conversation.
Multi-year agreements with photographed service records. The most common reason a board changes vendor is late removal, so the removal date is in the agreement with a credit clause.
Not sure which of these is your house?
Answer a few questions about your roofline — stories, peaks, how far around you want to go — and the designer lays out what we would actually do at three levels, with the reasoning for the one we would pick. It takes about a minute, and nobody has to stand in your driveway for you to see it.
